As you can imagine, when each cast of your skill is poe currency bouncing around and hitting up to 11 different enemies, then the DPS can accumulate fairly quickly. Remember that the DPS reflected from the tooltip isn’t telling you the entire story (as is frequently true with most tooltip DPS, on many abilities, in most Path of Exile games).
Shock is a lightning-based standing illness. Shock increases a enemies damage taken by up to 50% for an quantity of time based on the amount of lightning damage dealt with the Path of Exile participant. The Arc skill supplies an inherent 10% chance to shock any enemies hit by it.
The Arc Witch doesn’t have to be a very crit-heavy construct. Rather, just carry enough crit to result in rather ordinary Elemental Overload procs. Elemental Overload provides the Path of Exile player a 40 percent increase to damage dealt with the condition that you’ve landed a significant hit in the last eight minutes. Therefore, all you need is enough crit chance to property a minumum of one crit every eight seconds and you would have pretty much constant Elemental Overload.
No matter how good your construct is, you won’t get very much in PoE if you are too easy to kill. Therefore, you have to make sure your character has plenty of defense. That is not as true of this Arc Witch. Block is a fantastic way to enhance your defense, since it provides up to a 75% chance to totally eliminate attacks and spells.
